　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　1994年の台湾を始めにアジア各国の写真を撮り始めた。いままで小型の35mmカメラのみで撮影

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　をしていたのだが、1998年から大型の4×5カメラを担いでモノクロフィルムで街を撮りだした。

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　最近撮り続けてている「SPACE」シリーズはこの辺りから始まった。とりわけ1998〜1999年の

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　ロケでは、撮影した街で、気に入った場所で、撮影時に使用したポラロイドを使って路上写真展

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　を仕掛けてみた。

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　I began to take photographs in various countries in Asia beginning from Taiwan in 1994.

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　I used a 4×5 large-format camera after 1998 and began to shoot with black and white film,

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　bearing in mind that I had shot up to now only with a small 35mm camera. The seed of the

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　"SPACE" series, which I continue even today, started around this time. Especially during

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　the years 1998-1999,ﾓThe roadﾓ photograph exhibition was held by using the Polaroids taken

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　as test shots. These Polaroids were exhibited directly in the streets of the city where they

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　were taken.
